Today is Swimming Day!  We learned about credible websites and even got to design our own using Weebly!  Weebly has lots of fun features- you can insert pictures and videos as well as customize the font.  It is important to determine if websites are credible because not everything on the Internet is true.  For example the North Pacific Tree Octopus is a website that looks like it has real information- it has an author and "facts" and a copyright but at closer look you can tell the website is not reliable.  Can't wait to find out what is in store for tomorrow!!

Today at WSU Discovery Camp we are learning about Internet Safety and how to create blogs. It is important to be safe online because everyone has access to the information you post online. You can check out the video below to learn more about a blog! I have 18 campers this week and it looks like we are going to have a LOT of fun!!!
